About Betsy Lam
There is something magical
about creating things, so sweet to
step back and say: "I made that."
I build web sites.
For more than a decade, I've coded for big guys like Goose Island, Kraft, Best Buy, Hillshire, Radioshack, Allstate, Bridgestone and IBM, and littler guys like hospitals, schools and non-profits. These days, I build cool things at Threadless.
I write stuff.
I rock climb.
Which is not making stuff. But it's equally magical.
I live in Chicago.
And I'm a proud mama to a little boy named Louie. A few of my favorite things: charcuterie plates, soup, bourbon, The Nerdette podcast, Fiona Apple, Orphan Black. And Gilmore Girls, of course.
